It's almost the end of the year and this is the perfect time to look back on a great Distant Fires Burning year. It's the year where I was blessed with my first label-release on U-Cover CDR Limited, Build on Me and with a remix of Northcape's track Clear Moment from his latest full length Captured From Static (actually being my second label release on Sun Sea Sky Productions).
With my other project 2?? we hit the road and had some great shows while still building on our liveset. And with all the experience from this year I bet the shows of 2011 will be significantly better...
2010 was the year where the music of Distant Fires Burning got picked up by a fine selection of radio stations (Soma FM, Kink FM, Klara, ...)
2010 was also the year I discovered my music on several download and torrent sites. I guess this is an inevitable phenomenon in music business. So I'm not gonna complain about it. For my part be free to take the effort to search for my songs, download them and enjoy.
